The TuffTap is a great solution for common issues with inline ball valve taps commonly fitted by window cleaners between the pole hose and main microbore reel hose.

Features:

  • For 6mm ID Microbore OR 8mm ID Minibore (depending on selected option) going to 8mm OD PU pole hose.

 

The TuffTap kit includes:

  • 1 x Protective outer casing
  • 1 x 8mm push fit ball valve tap
  • 1 x John Guest stem to barb adapter (8mm x 6mm OR 8mm x 8mm depending on option selected)
  • 1 x 10-12mm double ear O Clip for Microbore hose OR 11-13mm O Clip for Minibore hose (single ear Oetiker O clips can be accomodated but are not included)
  • Full instructions (1 per order. Please message us if more are required)

Designed for 6mm ID Microbore OR 8mm ID Minibore one one side of the tap going to 5mm ID x 8mm OD PU pole hose on the other side of the tap.

(Most pole hose is suitable for push fit, including the Gardiner all season yellow pole hose and all 8mm OD PU hose. If you wish to use a type that is unsuitable for push fit, such as braided 5mm ID PVC hose or reinforced hose, you will need to also purchase an extra 8mm OD stem x 6mm barb adapter with O clip (select in the options))
